Quality Assurance

At Galam we believe quality to be the lever for growth – both for our customers and for our company.

As such, we’ve cultivated a culture of excellence across every Galam sector, dedicating about 10% of our human resources solely to quality activities. This involves assessing safety and quality risks, implementing reliable controls and providing ongoing employee training.

 

All Galam QA activities throughout the value chain conform to GMP requirements and comply with international standards for food product quality and safety such as HACCP, BRC, ISO and OHSAS. Our advanced central quality control laboratory works 24/7, performing rigorous testing that accompanies every raw material, throughout production right up to the final product stage.

Supply - Before working with us, every supplier is assessed to ensure compliance with the strictest food safety and quality requirements.

Production - Our state-of-the-art laboratories work around-the-clock, governed by IPC (in-process controls) for process testing and control throughout production.

Storage - Raw materials and finished goods are stored separately in full accordance with GMP requirements. We also perform internal audits to ensure all our stored goods meet the highest hygiene standards.

Delivery - The condition of every container is checked before and during loading by a loading inspector. Galam only works with qualified forwarders.

We work hard to maintain an in-depth knowledge of international standards and environmental-friendly practices. We frequently audit our integrated quality management system to ensure the relevance and effective implementation of all our policies.
